
Martin Esteban Farfan
Martin is a non-profit professional with over a decade of experience in program development, service implementation, charter school management, operations, and staff training. As the Director of Compliance & Equity for The Foundation for Hispanic Education Schools in San Jose, CA, Martin leads planning efforts and practices in the areas of Compliance, Community Outreach, Enrollment, Non-Instructional Operations, Community Schools, and Nutrition. He is very passionate about bridging students and families of color to educational programs, professional development, financial literacy, and growth opportunities.
Aside from his current role, Martin has also participated in programs and volunteered for organizations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area such as Latino Leadership Alliance (Cohort 13), Peninsula College Fund, Education Pioneers (Visiting Fellow), Latino Community Foundation, Mission Economic Development Agency, and other non-profit organizations. Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science / Urban Studies & Planning from San Francisco State University and a Master’s of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
